I want to write sometime this weekend about yesterday’s professional development day at our college, but today I have too much else to do, so I’m going to give you a wonderful New York Times article by one of my favorite columnists–David Brooks, from back in April 2015. He is not an educator, officially, but I want to become more like the people he describes–a teacher who builds not “resume virtues,” but “eulogy virtues.”
